Cailyn Perry

M.Sc. Student

I am a recent Biology graduate from the University of Waterloo and am excited to continue my education as a Master’s student in the NeurdyPhagy lab! I am studying how protein mislocalization and palmitoylation within neuromuscular junctions contributes to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) pathology. I have a special interest in genetic disease treatment and am looking forward to contributing to this exciting field. In my free time, you will find me drawing, painting, sculpting, baking, playing the piano, or singing (pretty much any creative outlet I can find). I love the intersection between science and art, and I always try to find ways to incorporate art into my work within the lab!
